Vehicles in Germany's City Discovered Smeared with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Police stated they were notified by a individual who discovered a vehicle in Hanau marked with reddish fluid

Roughly fifty automobiles have been smeared with what appears to be blood from a person in the German municipality of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, according to authorities.

Vehicles, building surfaces and postboxes were marked, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they reported in a release.

Officers report they were alerted in the late hours on Wednesday, when a man discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued fluid.

The substance had been drawn in the form of a Nazi symbol, they stated.

Law enforcement then found numerous other vandalized cars and residential walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

These symbols are prohibited in Germany under regulations banning the visible presentation of symbols from the Nazi era.

Officials report initial examinations suggest the fluid was probably human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no indication as to its source; investigators are not yet informed of any harm in relation with the event," they added.

City officials announced they were attempting "to resolve the case" and have appealed to the public for information.

A high-ranking representative stated the incident made him speechless and required to be solved promptly.

"This incident hits the very heart of Hanau and reopens the pain of the extremist attack in 2020," he stated on social media, mentioning the killing of nine victims by a shooter focusing on residents of foreign heritage in five years prior.
